Global’s Summer Beach Clean

Last week, our HQ team swapped their desks for litter pickers and headed down to the local beach for a summer beach clean!

Our HQ is based in Whitstable, Kent, so when we sat down to brainstorm how we can give back, it was a no-brainer to start at home - at the beach.

In classic British summer style, instead of sunshine we were greeted with rain, but team members from every department showed up and worked side by side to collect over 200 pieces of litter in under an hour across only 100m of coastline.

Partnering with Canterbury City Council and The Marine Conservation Society, we helped protect this stretch of beach and give back to the community we call home.

For Global, it’s about more than just clearing rubbish on the beach. For us, it’s giving back and living by our CLEAR Values: Collaboration, Leadership, Accountability and Responsibility. These principles guide our teams across the globe, on mission critical projects and right here on our local shores.
