A Year of Growth, Agility, and Confidence In Where We’re Heading

Our CEO, Louis Charlton, reflects on 2025.

A Year of Growth, Agility, and Confidence in Where We’re Heading

As each year draws to a close, you get the space to look back at what we’ve achieved and the challenges we’ve worked through together. 2025 has been a year of shifting demands, changing project environments, and rising expectations across the data centre industry. Through it all, our teams have delivered with clarity, discipline, and a shared sense of purpose.”

Adapting to a Changing Delivery Environment

“Across EMEA, the work has not become easier.

Higher densities and accelerated timelines have reshaped project delivery in ways few predicted at the start of the year. Yet every time the environment changed, our people adapted.

They supported each other across borders, stayed focused on fundamentals, and continued to deliver the assurance clients depend on.

That level of consistency comes from having the right people and the right mindset.”

From Co-Ordination to Confidence

“A theme that has stood out in conversations with clients this year is a growing interest in how commissioning delivers confidence rather than just coordination.

You can hear the shift in language.

Clients are asking more about how we verify systems, how early insights reduce risk, and how we demonstrate that a facility will perform exactly as intended.

None of this is new for us; it simply shines a light on what commissioning has always required at its core: clarity, validation, and proof.”

Strengthening How We Deliver

We have strengthened how we support that.

This year, we aligned our management structure, regional and support teams, improved how information flows through the business, and invested in capabilities that have the greatest influence on project outcomes.

These improvements weren’t made to react to the market; they were made because we could see where the industry is heading.

They ensure that when a client wants confidence early in the programme, or deeper visibility over performance, we are positioned to deliver it.

This shift toward clearer commissioning language is overdue for the industry.

Next year, we will begin talking more about it, not as a change of direction, but as a return to what commissioning has always stood for. For us, verification and certification are not initiatives; they are simply the natural result of doing commissioning properly from day one.”

Looking Ahead: Workforce and Market Pressures

“We’re also mindful of what lies ahead.

By early 2026, some regions in Europe may feel pressure on the availability of experienced commissioning professionals as development accelerates, borders tighten, and the UK labour market, with the ability to travel and work in Europe, squeezes.

We’ve already prepared for this through structured workforce planning, compliance, capability building, and a regional model designed to provide stability even when the wider market tightens. Being ahead of those challenges is part of how we work.”

Our People at the Centre

“And the truth is simple: none of what we achieve would be possible without our team.

Their professionalism, their resilience, and the pride they take in their work underpin every project we deliver.

They are the reason clients trust us. They are the reason our reputation holds. They are the reason we can look ahead with confidence.

Our Global team is at the heart of everything.

The way they show up, support one another, and carry themselves in demanding environments is something I’m genuinely proud of.

Their character shapes who we are far more than any system or process ever will.”

Stepping into 2026 with Intent

“In 2026, Global will not be slowing down.

We’re stepping into the new year with intent.

We’re expanding into new regions, strengthening our presence where we already operate, and standing side by side with clients as they take on larger, more complex programmes.

Expectations will rise, but so will we.

Thank you to our clients and partners for the trust you place in us. What we achieved this year is the result of that shared effort.

And to everyone at Global, thank you for the pride, professionalism, and commitment you bring to your work every single day. You are the reason we can look forward with confidence.

Global is ready for the year ahead.

We’re prepared for the scale, the complexity, and the challenges.

And we’re confident in the role we will continue to play in shaping what comes next.”
